  Pro-Alert Andon

Our Pro-Alert Andon is a customizable display sign per your facility needs..  You may add as many signs as you need to the system.  The standard build is a 2 sided display with 4 lines of text and LEDs on each side.  3 lines for 3 different departments and 1 line for use as a bell timer, advisory board, and clock with date.  Single side is shown in the picture above.

The Pro-Alert Andon serves as a wireless (Wi-Fi 802.11G) web host.  Configuration, administration, and client functions are all accessible from any computer on the Pro-Alert wireless network.  The Pro-Alert andon may be assigned an IP address and computer name on your existing network, making access to the sign available from any computer on your existing network.  

We've designed the "standard build" to be delivered, turn key, to your facility.  All that is left to do is hang the andon in a visually centralized location from the supplied eye-bolts, and plug-in to a standard 120v receptacle.  Once plugged-in and turned on, the andon begins serving pages on your network.  Any Wi-Fi enabled device with a web browser, as most computers do have, will be able to access the sign and control the display. 

Here is a list of features supported with our standard Andon:

  • CNC machined melamine sign board
  • Laser cut aluminum back panel for internal components
  • Scrolling, multicolor LED display 
  • Each alert can play an individual sound.  Any windows wav file may be used for alerts
  • Upload your own sounds and add them to the database
  • Setup "Auto Messages" for use as bell timers.  i.e. for lunch's and breaks
  • Setup "Auto Messages" that must be responded to. i.e. machine maintenance (call would display until someone physically clears it from the sign)
  • Can send a one time message for communication purposes
  • "Advisory" displays clock with date when no calls are placed
  • Usernames and Password security
  • Lock Users to certain cell, so they can't place calls on other lines
  • Lock Users from signing out of cell
  • Display the minutes the call has been on the board in the message.  i.e. Cell Down (4) - 4 meaning 4 minutes it has been down and will change every minute
  • Add / Delete / Modify full work cells (Add cells by cloning a current cell)
  • Add / Delete / Modify Departments (Names & Locations)
  • Modify Messages (Button names, Messages, Sounds, Color, Display Time)
  • Wireless/Wi-Fi router or adapter, depending on customer's request
  • 100watt emergency vehicle speaker and amplifier for outstanding audio range
  • UPC battery back-up that will keep the sign running for up to 5 minutes in the event of a power failure

Included in our upgraded package:

  • Track response times and "down" times
  • Receive email notifications based on customizable criteria
  • See what the display would be showing through the software, automatically refresh for monitoring status.
