Q: What can an andon do for my business?

A: The Pro-Alert andon purposes as an effective status communication tool within your work environment. It is a component of the visual workplace and may be used for status of a variety of conditions within the workplace and other uses as follows:

    - The andon's primary purpose is to alert specific personnel of a problem that needs to be resolved, minimizing the time to locate the required personnel and the time it takes for them to respond to the problem.

    - Events may easily be scheduled into memory with a very simple web interface, that would remind certain personnel of duties, meetings, or tasks, etc. that need to be performed.

    - The andon is equipped with a 100 watt enunciator speaker and amplifier for audio prompting, which makes the sign easy to use as a bell timer for lunches and breaks, etc.

    - When there are no messages to display, the andon displays the current date and time. Internal clock is automatically adjusted for day light savings.

    - The andon stores a database that will allow records to be made for checking response times of personnel and number of calls made to a specific area.

    - The Pro-Alert gives any work environment a professional look. It is just as attractive as it is effective. Visitors will notice the Pro-Alert andon and will give you the opportunity to express your value of communication and commitment to a visual workplace.
